NSC scores big in St George’s College Invitational Soccer Tournament

Mussoorie, 1 Aug: The 51^st edition of the ‘St. George’s College Heritage Cup (aka Jackie) Invitational Soccer Tournament’ at St George’s College, here, witnessed four matches today.

In the first match played today, Kendriya Vidyalaya Upper Camp defeated The Oasis School, 4-0. For Kendriya Vidyalaya Upper Camp, the goals were scored by Ayush Bisht in the 20^th minute, Hardhik in the 43^rd minute, Kunal in the 48^th minute and Shivam in the 55^th minute.

In the second match played today, Navchetan Sports Club defeated FC Blu Sports Club, 6-0. For Navchetan Sports Club, the goals were scored by Sohan Mehra in the 4^th minute, Manoj Thapa in the 17^th minute, Mukul in the 28^th minute, Aayan in the 46^th and 58^th minutes and Sunil Mehra in the 59^th minute.

The third match played today, between Khetwala Sports Club and Mussoorie Boys Sports Club ended in a draw, 0-0.

In the fourth match played today, Doon Valley Public School defeated St. Joseph’s Academy by 3-1.

For Doon Valley Public School, the goals were scored by Sujal in the 12^th and 41^st minutes and Naman Thapa in the 51^st minute. For St Joseph’s Academy, the only goal was scored by Param in the 21^st minute.

The referees for today’s matches were Pushkar Gusain, CM Bhatt, Devashish Kashyap, Anish Chhetri, Milan Chhetri and Abhiruchi Gurung.
