Workshop held on Swachhta Survey in Mussoorie

Mussoorie, 5 Aug: The Municipal Council convened a meeting today regarding the bulk waste generator of Swachh Survey 2024 by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India under the chairmanship of Administrator Dr Deepak Saini. Under this Swachh Survey expert Rajat Bhandari discussed the main points related to bulk waste generators and a presentation was shown for 100% door to door collection and source segregation. Information was given about MRF Centre and Bio Methane Plant located in Mussoorie IDH and also about Service Level Progress (SLCP), open defecation, garbage free city and RRR Centre, etc.
Executive Officer Rajveer Chauhan asked all the bulk waste generators present in the workshop to coordinate with MRF Centre running company Novest Environmental Solution for disposal of wet garbage.
SDM Dr Deepak Saini told bulk waste generators to be the most important link to make the city clean, under which orders were given to prepare a log book, separate bio medical waste, keep dustbins in different categories and organise a workshop with all the schools of Mussoorie. On this occasion, Sanjay Agarwal (President) Hotel Association), Usha Chaudhary (former teacher), Ashish Goyal (Hotel Vishnu Palace) , Manoranjan Tripathi (Retired IG BSF) were selected as the brand ambassadors of Swachh Survey 2024.
Administrator Dr Deepak Saini, Executive Officer Rajveer Singh Chauhan, Sanitation Inspector Virendra Singh Bisht, Swachh Survey expert Rajat Bhandari and DPS expert Paras Khatri, Ashish Goyal (Hotel Vishnu Palace), Ian Chauhan (Wynberg Allen School), Sachin (Waverly School), Anil Juyal, Dinesh Joshi and Sanjay (Club Mahindra), Manoranjan Tripathi (former IG Landour Cantt), Sanjay Agarwal (President, Hotel Association), Vijay Gurung (JP Hotel), Sandeep Yadav from Novest Environmental Solution, Ashok Kumar and Jitendra Singh Rawat from Keen, Hilldari team and Municipality supervisor were present.
