St George’s College teams score wins in Soccer Tournament

Mussoorie, 5 Aug: Three matches were held today in the ‘St George’s College Heritage Cup (aka Jackie) Invitational Soccer Tournament’ at St George’s College. A total of 28 teams are participating in the tournament.

In the first match played today, Mussoorie United Football Club defeated Mussoorie Boys Sports Club by 3-0. For Mussoorie United Football Club, the goals were scored by Mahadev in the 15^th and 53^rd minutes and Anurag in the 19^th minute.

In the second match played today, St George’s College (B) defeated Kendriya Vidyalaya Upper Camp by 3-1. For St George’s College (B), the goals were scored by Ehsaas in the 26^th minute, Naushad in the 28^th minute and Prakhar in the 34^th minute.

For Kendriya Vidhyalya Upper Camp, the only goal was scored by Shivam in the 63^rd minute.

In the third match played today St. George’s College (A) defeated Doon Valley Public School, 6-0. For St George’s College (A), the goals were scored by Jeremiah in the 6^th and 42^nd minutes, Shrey in the 19^th minute, Tanishq in the 30^th minute, Donyi in the 44^th minute and Sukrit in the 69^th minute.

The referees for today’s matches were Pushkar Gusain, CM Bhatt, Devashish Kashyap, Anish Chhetri, Milan Chhetri and Abhiruchi Gurung.
