Mussoorie, 8 Aug: Three matches were played today in the 51st edition of the ‘St George’s College Heritage Cup (aka Jackie) Invitational Soccer Tournament’ at St George’s College, here.
In the first match played today, Mussoorie United Football Club defeated Aryan Sports Club by 3-2.
For Mussoorie United Football Club, the goals were scored by Anuraag in the 3rd and 21st minutes and Ritash in the 18th minute. For Aryan Sports Club, the goals were scored by Ajeet in the 12th minute and Vikash in the 14th minute.
In the second match, Wynberg Allen School defeated Kendriya Vidyalaya Upper Camp by 4-1. For Kendriya Vidyalaya Upper Camp, the only goal was scored by Kunal in the 11th minute. For Wynberg Allen School, the goals were scored by Mingur Dorjee in the 9th minute, Ayaan Desai in the 34th minute and Tenzing Dhonyoe in the 49th and 52nd minutes.
The third match played between Manorite and Yuva Sports Club ended in a draw, 1-1. For Manorite, the only goal was scored by Jotish in the 50th minute. For Yuva Sports Club, the only goal was scored by Shubham in the 2nd minute.
The referees for today’s matches were Pushkar Gusain, CM Bhatt, Devashish Kashyap, Anish Chhetri, Milan Chhetri, Abhiruchi Gurung, Rohan Chamoli, Richard Joseph and Sushant Ale.
