Dehradun, 29 Aug: State Chairperson of BJP’s Women Wing (Mahila Morcha) Asha Nautiyal today claimed that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is working seriously towards further strengthening the security of women. She was commenting on the constitution of a five-member committee under the chairmanship of DIG Law and Order P Renuka Devi by the DGP on the instruction of CM Dhami.
Asha Nautiyal expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for giving instructions to the state police to set up such a committee. She claimed that the state government is working seriously to ensure safety of women. A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of DIG Law and Order to find out what more effective steps can be taken to curb crimes against women. She stated that it is clear from this that the committee will give recommendations to the government for the safety of women and on that basis the safety of women will be further strengthened.
The BJP Mahila Morcha state chief Asha Nautiyal said that this shows the sensitivity of the government and how serious the government is about women’s safety. She claimed that the state government is not only focusing on women’s safety but is also preparing a plan to take more stringent steps to stop crimes against women.
