GUPTKASHI, 18 Nov: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi asserted that Kedarnath is witnessing a one-sided contest and the BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal is sure to secure a record-breaking victory. The minister was addressing a massive rally in support of Nautiyal in Guptkashi on Monday. Joshi along with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, participated in a massive rally in Guptkashi market on the final day of campaigning for the Kedarnath Assembly by-election. During his public address, he urged the people of the constituency to vote in favour of Asha Nautiyal.
Joshi stated, “This election will change the direction and destiny of the country.” He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monumental work in Kedarnath and the ongoing development initiatives in the Kedar valley under the leadership of Dhami. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s words from Kedarnath, where he declared this decade as the “decade of Uttarakhand,” and expressed confidence that the people of Kedarnath would endorse BJP’s efforts by delivering a historic victory. He added, “The people of Kedarnath are fully prepared to ensure a resounding victory for BJP.” He also urged the public to participate in the democratic process by casting their votes on November 20.
The rally was also attended by Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna, former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, District president Mahavir Singh Panwar, Rudraprayag MLA Bharat Chaudhary, MLA Mahant Dilip Rawat, BJP candidate Asha Nautiyal, District Panchayat president Amardei Shah, State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, and a large number of supporters.
