Dehradun, 5 Jan: Addressing a civic felicitation ceremony organised at ‘Haruli Aanchal’ in Dharmaraj Villa of Chandrabadni Enclave, Kedarpuram, today, film star Swati Semwal said that coming from a non-filmy family background, making a career in films was definitely a big challenge in the initial days, but due to dedication towards the goal and passion to achieve it, all this has been made possible. To achieve big goals in life, patience, passion and dedication are necessary. Semwal said that big goals can be achieved only by taking small steps, instead of getting scared of the challenges of life, one should face them because struggles have to be faced in every field of life. For this, one needs to prepare oneself mentally.
It is worth noting that Swati Semwal has appeared in more than 200 advertisements and is working with many film personalities. Her film, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, was quite popular.
Originally coming from a simple family background of Tehri District, she has been successful in making her mark as an actress, director and writer in Bollywood. She has also been Miss Uttarakhand 2007. Her book, “How to be God”, is very popular among readers. The book gained a lot of popularity and has been inspiring for the readers. Swati Semwal is considered a role model for emerging film directors, producers and writers of the state.
The civic felicitation programme was organised by Lovely Purohit, Vinita Uniyal, Pooja Dobhal, Kamala Purohit, Seema Thapliyal, Asha Suriyal, Sarojini Semwal, Deepika Singh, Shobha Pundir, Kumud Vashisht, Anamika, Anjali and other residents of Chandrabadni Enclave.
