Home Minister Amit Shah to attend closing ceremony of National Games

Dehradun, 4 Feb: Upon his return from Delhi after an intensive election campaign in Delhi on behalf of the BJP, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the Maharana Pratap Sports Stadium here, today, and inspected the arrangements for the players at the ongoing National Games being hosted in the state. During his visit, he reviewed the food arrangements, personally served food to the players, and also sat and ate with them. He encouraged the players from many states participating in various sports events by talking to them. The CM also inspected the shooting range on this occasion.
Dhami shared that Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the closing ceremony of the National Games to be held in Haldwani.
Dhami observed that the 38th National Games have started well in the state, and the state government is trying to ensure that all the players have a good experience in Uttarakhand. Efforts have been made to provide every possible facility and amenity to the players and visitors. He said that the experience of the National Games will prove to be very useful for the state. The CM further stated that efforts have been made to provide food arrangements to the players of every state according to their dietary preferences. He is taking updates of the National Games from the officials every moment and is personally inspecting various arrangements.
Special Principal Secretary, Sports, senior IPS Officer Amit Sinha, Sports Director Prashant Arya, and SSP, Dehradun, Ajai Singh were also present on this occasion.
