Dehradun, 4 Feb: Today, the 38th National Games witnessed the thrilling culmination of the Basketball 3×3 tournament, showcasing competitive matches and declaring champions in, both, the Men’s and Women’s categories.
In the Basketball 3×3 finals at the 38th National Games, Madhya Pradesh secured a hard-fought victory over Kerala with a close score of 22-20 in the Men’s category, while Telangana triumphed in the Women’s final, defeating Kerala 21-11 with a commanding performance, reaffirming their dominance in the tournament.
In the Men’s division semifinals, Kerala narrowly edged past Tamil Nadu 16-15, while Madhya Pradesh secured a strong 18-14 victory over Telangana, setting up the thrilling finale between Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, in the Women’s category, Telangana showcased their prowess by defeating Tamil Nadu, 18-11, in the semi-final. Kerala also displayed resilience, claiming a hard-fought 13-10 victory over Madhya Pradesh, leading to an exciting final clash between Kerala and Telangana.
