Delhi, 13 Feb: Under the aegis of the Lalit Kala Akademi and the National Gallery of Modern Art, a grand national art exhibition on the theme, “Vision Developed India 2047”, was organised at the historic Purana Qila complex, here. More than 6,000 artists participated physically, while 3,000 artists joined online.
In this prestigious event, Kahkashan, an art teacher at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Dehradun, showcased her remarkable artwork, titled “Ek Vishwas”. Her creation beautifully portrayed the vision of a self-reliant, strong, and prosperous India by 2047.
Out of thousands of artworks displayed, 35 exceptional pieces were selected for a special exhibition at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The grand exhibition was inaugurated and viewed by the President, Droupadi Murmu.
On this occasion, the President honoured 15 outstanding women artists, stating, “By 2047, India will once again be called the Golden Bird. These artworks reflect a bright vision of the nation’s future.”
Kahkashan’s remarkable achievement was celebrated by her family, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Dehradun, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Dehradun region), and the entire KVS community. This recognition is not only a personal milestone for her but also a moment of pride for the entire academic and artistic fraternity.
This grand art event has proven to be a significant step in bringing the vision of Developed India 2047 closer to the people.
