Dehradun, 18 May: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda arrived in Uttarakhand on a two-day visit. He was warmly received by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP workers at Jolly Grant Airport on Sunday morning.

Following his arrival, Nadda proceeded to Pithoragarh, where he reviewed the implementation of the Vibrant Villages Scheme in the border villages, including Gunji and Adi Kailash. His visit holds strategic importance due to the region’s sensitive geographical location.

During his time in Dehradun, CM Dhami met JP Nadda and presented him with a curated gift hamper from House of Himalayas, showcasing the state’s pure and high-quality local products. The Chief Minister also briefed him about the remarkable efforts being made by local residents in the area of self-employment and rural entrepreneurship.

Nadda’s visit underscores the importance the central leadership places on the development of border regions and the empowerment of local communities through government schemes.
