Roorkee, 21 Aug: The second day of Deeksharambh 2025 – Student Induction Programme – at Quantum University unfolded with a series of insightful sessions, cultural celebrations, and interactive activities that enriched the freshers’ orientation journey.

In the Guest Sessions, Amit Dubey, a distinguished cybersecurity expert, delivered a powerful session on digital safety. He spoke about phishing, hacking, identity theft, and data breaches, while emphasising safe online behaviour and vigilance as digital citizens. Varun Tiwari, CEO & Coordinator of Genesis, addressed students on Innovation & Startups. He highlighted the importance of creativity, resilience, and adaptability while presenting the incubation, IPR, and startup ecosystem at Quantum University.

Deepak Bhatt, a motivational speaker, inspired students to focus on personal growth, confidence, and determination. Ram Kumar from IIM Kashipur shared deep insights into innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership, motivating students to dream big and achieve professional excellence. Dr Brij Mohan Singh, Director QST, spoke on Learning Methods & Project-Based Learning, encouraging conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and collaborative education. Dr Vinay Sethi, Associate Professor at Sanskrit Viswavidyalaya, Haridwar, sensitised students on Women’s Equality & Universal Human Values. His session stressed the importance of ethical living and gender equality. Dr N Murugulatha elaborated on Examination & Assessment, guiding students on the evaluation framework. Dr Satender Kumar, Dean of Academics, explained the Academic Structure of Quantum University and its alignment with future career goals.
In the Alumni Interaction, Soumyadeep Pramanik, Founder & CEO of ZEROMONK and proud alumnus of Quantum University, conducted an engaging session on Startups, IPR & Education. His entrepreneurial journey inspired students to pursue innovation with confidence.
In the Cultural & Passion Programmes, a vibrant Cultural Programme brought together music, dance, and dramatics, showcasing the diverse talents of the first-year students.
Students were introduced to Passion Programs (PROPs), a unique initiative of Quantum University offering clubs in music, dance, theatre, sports, photography, innovation, entrepreneurship, and more. With enthusiastic participation, freshers registered for various clubs, marking the start of their holistic growth journey.
In Interactive & Team-Building Activities, Dr Pushpendra Singh, Coordinator of DEEPRO, conducted ice-breaking and team-building activities that encouraged collaboration, peer bonding, and leadership development.
The Learning Outcomes of Day 2 included awareness of cybersecurity and digital responsibility; exposure to innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture; motivation towards personal growth, leadership, and resilience; understanding of academic structure, evaluation, and project-based learning; sensitisation to ethics, gender equality, and universal values; active involvement in cultural life and PROPs clubs for holistic development.
