Mussoorie, 15 Oct: A touch of Bollywood arrived on the Mall Road in Mussoorie on Thursday afternoon, as actor Akshay Kumar was spotted shooting for his upcoming film. In one of the scenes, the actor was seen strolling along the Mall Road and shopping alongside his leading lady. Carrying shopping bags, he appeared to be in high spirits. A large crowd of fans gathered upon seeing the actor, all eager to catch a glimpse of him. In the sequence filmed on the Mall Road, Akshay Kumar and his co-star appeared just like ordinary tourists exploring the market. A crowd of locals and tourists assembled to watch the shoot. Akshay Kumar did not disappoint his fans, waving to them in acknowledgment.
Meanwhile, the film unit had made special security arrangements at the shooting site. The actor kept his distance from the media, remaining focused on his work.
In addition to the Mall Road, a song sequence for the film was also shot at Mussoorie’s historic Hotel Savoy. The film unit is capturing the picturesque locations of Mussoorie on camera. It is reported that further scenes are scheduled to be filmed later in the evening near George Everest and the Spring Road area. Akshay Kumar is also expected to continue shooting in Mussoorie on Friday, after which some portions of the film will be shot at various locations in Dehradun. Alongside the filming, there was also talk regarding the actor’s health; it is understood that he experienced back pain on Wednesday and sought medical treatment in Dehradun. However, he appeared active and fully engaged in the filming process on Thursday. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding his health status.
Mussoorie’s Mall Road, with its historic buildings, mountain paths, and natural beauty, has long attracted filmmakers. Akshay Kumar’s film shoot has once again brought a buzz of Bollywood activity to the town. Fans were highly enthusiastic, eager to catch a glimpse of the actor. Film shoots also create employment opportunities for those involved in local hospitality, taxi services, catering, and other related sectors. At the same time, it is essential to manage security and the movement of the general public during shoots in busy tourist areas like Mall Road. Currently, the film’s schedule reportedly includes shooting various sequences across Mussoorie and Dehradun.
