riyanka Agarwal, PCC Delegate and Secretary of the Mahila Congress, played a key role in the Nari Nyaya Andolan. Alka Lamba, National President of the All India Mahila Congress, who attended as the Chief Guest, demanded the immediate implementation of the 33% Women’s Reservation Bill. She emphasised that the reservation should ensure the participation of SC, ST, and OBC women and be enacted in states where assembly elections are upcoming. Addressing the gathering, Lamba also highlighted that women are suffering due to rising unemployment and inflation, leading to increased domestic violence. She called for economic empowerment of women and criticised the BJP for making false promises during elections. She claimed that Haryana’s women now understand the difference between BJP’s promises and actions. The Mahila Congress is prepared for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections and will ensure that BJP’s false promises are exposed by visiting homes across the state.
Sudha Bhardwaj, President of Haryana Pradesh Mahila Congress, criticised the BJP government for making only empty promises over the past decade and not taking any substantial actions for public welfare. She credited Priyanka Agarwal’s hard work for the successful organisation of the Nari Nyaya Andolan and noted that the event saw a record turnout of women.
Priyanka Agarwal, the event organiser, harshly criticised the BJP government for its failure to provide basic amenities in the Ballabgarh constituency, which she described as a “dumping ground” with inadequate water and sewerage facilities. She stated that the people of Ballabgarh are united with Congress and are determined to vote out the ineffective government in the upcoming assembly elections. She thanked the people of Ballabgarh for their support and the success of the Nari Nyaya Andolan.
