Dehradun, 30 Dec: BJP state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan today described the allegations of ticket selling against party leaders by Congress workers as a repetition of its old record, stating that there is nothing new in this for a party that has been completely neglecting its workers. Expressing sympathy with the aggrieved Congress members, Chauhan quipped that the Congress leadership is aware of its impending defeat, which is why all the mess is happening within their party.
Reacting to the video of Congress claimants going viral on social media, Chauhan termed it unfortunate and shameful, saying that this is the dark truth of the Congress, which becomes public in every election. He added that this is one big reason why Congress is heading towards the abyss while making a record of defeats. The continuous neglect of workers by the Congress leadership and its irresponsible leaders has led to this fate, and they have not learned any lesson from it. This is why the habit of selling the country while in power continues in the form of the addiction of selling tickets within their own party.
Chauhan claimed that Congress knows the public is very happy with the work of BJP’s double-engine government, and it is not possible for Congress candidates to win. In such a situation, the way allegations of selling tickets are coming to the fore, it seems that a big scam is being done in the selection of candidates for the civic elections.
Chauhan stated that this is an internal matter of the Congress party, but such incidents cannot be justified by any political party as the integrity of the party is questioned. He further alleged that those who spread the lie of the Constitution ending in the country and abroad are themselves surrounded by allegations of killing democracy within their own party. BJP and the public recognise the truth of the Congress leadership, and now Congress workers have also started realising it. Expressing sympathy with the aggrieved Congress workers, he said that the time has come for the people to teach a lesson again in the elections to those who engage in negative and fraudulent politics.
