Dehradun, 25 Jan: On the occasion of Republic Day, this year, officers and employees of the Uttarakhand Home Guards Department have been awarded the President’s Home Guards Medal for distinguished and meritorious service.
Amitabh Srivastava, Deputy Commandant General, Home Guards and Civil Defence Headquarters, Uttarakhand, and Rajeev Baloni, Deputy Commandant General, have been awarded the President’s Distinguished Service Home Guards Medal.
At the same time, Govind Singh Khati, Senior Administrative Officer, Home Guards, District Almora, and Rajpal Rana, Honorary Platoon Commander, District Chamoli, have been awarded the President’s Meritorious Service Home Guards Medal.
It may be recalled that Deputy Commandant General Amitabh Srivastava has been awarded the President’s Home Guards Medal for Meritorious Service in the year 2017 and Deputy Commandant General Rajeev Baloni for the year 2016.
Commandant General, Home Guards, Kewal Khurana has congratulated the officers and employees concerned on being awarded the President’s Home Guards Medal.
