‘Anveshan-2025’ held at HNB Garhwal University

Srinagar (Garhwal), 12 Nov: Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University successfully organised ‘Anveshan-2025’ on Tuesday. Participants from various academic disciplines delivered excellent presentations at the event held at the University’s Academic Activity Centre in Chauras. Eighteen teams participated in the competition.

Programme coordinator Professor GK Joshi elaborated on the objectives and significance of the Anveshan programme.

Chief Guest Professor RS Fartyal said that the day is not far when Garhwal University students will represent the university internationally. Special guest Professor Reena Ghildial, Professor Emerita of the University of Canberra, Australia, said that the students represent future research possibilities. She said that the topics chosen by the students were highly relevant, particularly those related to artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

Professor OP Gusain, Dean, Student Welfare at Garhwal University, said that this year’s participants will serve as inspirational ambassadors for next year.

In the competitions held on the occasion, Shikha Syal won in Basic Sciences, Raj Verma in Engineering and Technology, Meenakshi Saraf in Health Sciences and Allied Fields, Amit Kumar Mahato in Social Sciences and Humanities, and Rishi in Interdisciplinary Research. The programme was moderated by Dr Rukmani. The oral presentation sessions were coordinated by Dr Babita Rana, Dr Himshikha, and Dr Varun Barthwal.

The closing session was conducted by Dr Ghanshyam Thakur, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Ram Sahu. Anveshan 2025 concluded with enthusiasm and success. This occasion reiterated HNB Garhwal University’s continued commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and research excellence among its students.
