BHEL wins 2nd Prize under Rajbhasha Keerti Award 2025-26

Haridwar, 15 Sep: BHEL has been honoured with the highest national award in the field of Official Language, the ‘Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar’, by Rajbhasha Vibhag, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for ‘Excellent Rajbhasha Implementation’. Under this year’s Keerti Awards, the company has been conferred the ‘Second Prize’ in the category of Public Sector Enterprises located in ‘A Region’.

This award was received by Tajinder Gupta, Director (Power) – Additional Charge (Human Resources), BHEL, from Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, in the presence of Nityanand Rai, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, on 14 September 2026, during the Hindi Diwas celebration and the 6th All India Rajbhasha Conference held in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Notably, BHEL was awarded the ‘Keerti Puraskar’ for the years 2023-24 and 2024-25 as well.
