DEHRADUN, 25 Sep: Cabinet Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat will be on a tour from 26 to 30 September of Garhwal and Kumaon.
During his tour, Dr Rawat will participate in Ayushman Card, Aura ID and blood donation camps organised at various schools, colleges and medical units of Pauri, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts, including his assembly constituency Srinagar. Apart from this, he will hold meetings of the district administration, health and line departments in view of the Ayushman Bhava campaign run by the Central Government and on dengue prevention. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various development schemes during the visit.
On Tuesday, Dhan Singh Rawat will first participate in the Sanskrit student competition programme to be organised at Vidya Mandir in Srikot. He will give awards to the students who perform excellently in the competition. After this, he will participate in a blood donation camp organised at Government Polytechnic Srinagar, where he will also observe other activities conducted in the camp like Ayushman Card and Abha ID distribution. After this, he will lay the foundation stone for the asphalting work of the old age home road in Balori. The Cabinet Minister will also inaugurate the Physics Laboratory at Government Inter College, Khirsu, and the newly constructed guest house at the Community Health Centre. Apart from this, he will participate in the Ayushman Card, Abha ID and blood donation camp organised at Government College, Khirsu. He will inspect the under-construction building of the college. After this, he will inaugurate the repair and beautification of the building of Government Primary School, Chopra and lay the foundation stone of the building of Government Inter College. He will also inspect the playground under construction at Atrali Tok in Nagaon.
On Wednesday, the minister will participate in a blood donation camp organised at Government Medical College, Srinagar, under Seva Pakhwada. After this, he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Dhari Van’ programme organised in the Dhari Devi temple complex and address a public meeting on the topic ‘Village forest for the village’. He will also lay the foundation stone of the Skill Centre at the Government Medical College, Srinagar. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stones and inaugurate various construction works in Ward No. 1 and 2 in Srikot under Srinagar Municipal Corporation. Also, he will inaugurate CCTV cameras in Srinagar Kotwali to provide security at Char Dham National Highway and various places.
On Thursday he will be at NIT and participate in the blood donation camp organised in Srinagar, this will motivate people to donate blood voluntarily and make Ayushman cards and Abha IDs. After this, he will participate in the meeting organised in Srinagar regarding Garhwal Lok Sabha. Rawat will hold a meeting of officials of the district administration, health department and other line departments in view of dengue in the auditorium of Government Medical College, Srinagar. He will review the works related to dengue prevention in the district. Apart from this, he will also review the implementation of various programs run under the Ayushman Bhava campaign in the meeting. Also, he will participate in various programs organized under the Srinagar Municipal Corporation area. He will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate the development schemes.
On Friday, the Minister will visit the Khirsu, Pabau, Bharsar, Kaproli and Thalisain areas under his assembly constituency. During this time, he will also participate in Ayushman Card, Abha ID and blood donation camps organised at Government College Pabau, Horticulture and Forestry University Bharsar and Government College Thalisain. Besides, he will lay the foundation stone of the building of Government Inter College, Kaprauli, Government Food Store, Kainur, and will inaugurate the potato cold storage in Jallou and the newly constructed bridge destroyed by the disaster in Bagwadi. Apart from this, he will distribute relief fund checks in Pabau and hold a meeting of booth workers in Gadhsari.
The Cabinet Minister will visit the Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts during his visit to the Kumaon division on Saturday. During his visit, he will participate in Ayushman Card, Abha ID and blood donation camps organized at various places under Nainital district. Along with this, he will visit Jaspur, Kashipur and Rudrapur of Udham Singh Nagar district and participate in various health programs and blood donation camps conducted under Ayushman Bhava Abhiyan and Seva Pakhwada. Also, he will hold a review meeting of the district administration, health department and other line departments in view of dengue.
