Dehradun, 10 May: A campus placement drive was organised today by Training & Placement Office, SBS University, for Avantor Performance Material Ltd. The campus placement was for the final year students of MSc Biotechnology, MSc Biochemistry & MSc Microbiology for the post of Trainee Scientist. More than 40 students from the three disciplines participated.
The panel for the interview consisted of Mayur Chauhan (HR Manager), Bhushan Rao (Production), Dr Ruchi Mutreja (R&D Scientist) and Dr Tamoghna Ghosh (R&D Scientist), Mudita, Amit Pandey (Quality Control) and Dr Pankaj Krishna (Plant Head, R&D). Students participated in the placement drive with zeal and enthusiasm.
Dr Nikki Nautiyal (T&P Officer & Secretary) welcomed the team and the campus placement process started with a brief introduction about the company and job description by Dr Pankaj Krishna. The induction process was followed by personal interviews of the shortlisted students.
The panel was felicitated with a memento by Krishan Rawat (Registrar) and Dr Mamta F Singh (Convener, Training & Placement Office) as a token of gratitude. Dr Santosh K Karn and Dr Nikki Nautiyal were also present on the occasion.
Prof AK Sharma, Vice Chancellor of the University, expressed his thanks to the visiting team and congratulated the 15 shortlisted candidates.
