Cancer patients to get radiation OPD Services in Max Hospital

Dehradun, 20 Jun : Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun, a leading healthcare provider, has announced the launch of its Radiation OPD (Outpatient Department), a significant expansion of its cancer treatment offerings on Tuesday.
Radiation therapy plays a crucial role in the treatment of cancer, and the introduction of the Radiation OPD reaffirms Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun’s commitment to delivering advanced, multidisciplinary cancer care. By offering a dedicated outpatient facility for radiation treatment, the hospital aims to provide greater convenience, personalized care, and improved outcomes for patients in their fight against cancer. The facility will provide expert advice and treatment for conditions such as cancer of the Breast, Lung, Liver, Head, Neck, Urology and Pancreas.
The OPD was launched by leading Radiation Oncologist, Dr Rashmi Shukla- Consultant, Radiation Oncology, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj. She has been practising radiation therapy for over 10 years and has trained at various leading radiation centres in the nation. She will be doing the OPD at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun on the 2nd Friday of every month.
Dr Manisa Pattanayak, Principal Consultant- Surgical Oncology, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun, said, “Our hospital is one of the major healthcare centres in Uttarakhand which conducts highly complex cancer surgeries with micro-vascular reconstruction like complex head and neck cancer, breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and others.
