Closing Ceremony of Training Programme for Youth Foundation held at SBS University

DEHRADUN, 30 Aug: Sardar Bhagwan Singh University organised an eight week DOEACC-A level training programme for Youth Foundation students. In this training programme, 185 students were registered, while 174 students participated, out of whom 107 successfully passed. Komal, Shivani Sain and Ameesha Mainwal bagged the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions, respectively. The closing ceremony was conducted today by SBS University and Nivedita Kukreti (IPS) was the Chief Guest. A Guard of Honour was presented by University NCC cadets. The Chief Guest was welcomed by Prof Veerma Ram (Acting Vice-Chancellor), Krishan Rawat (Registrar), and Prof Manish Arora (Dean, Student Welfare). Capt TS Negi talked about the event and its benefit to the youth. The ceremony was inaugurated with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. A programme of folk dances was presented by the Youth Foundation students. The Chief Guest was delivered a motivational speech on “Importance of Hard work for a Successful Life”. At the end of the event, the participants and rank holders were awarded certificates by the Chief Guest.
