Dehradun, 22 Mar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today issued instructions to the officials concerned to ensure that the upcoming Char Dham Yatra is conducted in an orderly manner and that all preparations are completed well within time. The Chief Minister said that attention should also be paid to creating a positive atmosphere for the Char Dham Yatra.
Dhami further asked the officials of tourism department and police to organise meetings with the district magistrates associated with the Chardham Yatra to finalise the necessary preparations. He said that it should also be seen that the sentiments of the businesses associated with the Yatra route are respected and that their interests are protected. The Chief Minister said that, in the upcoming Char Dham Yatra, more devotees are expected to visit the state than the last year and therefore the arrangements should be made keeping this in consideration.
The Chief Minister has given instructions that the travel arrangements should be completed by 15 April. The Chief Minister also issued instructions to the officials to work with an effective action plan on the arrangements and ensure the convenience of the passengers along with the improvement of the roads of the yatra route.
