CM Rawat pays obeisance at Golden Temple

DEHRADUN, 20 Jan: Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat paid obeisance at the Golden temple, Amritsar, on Sunday. He also took kada prasad with the devotees on the occasion.
Prior to this, the Chief Minister flagged off the air service from Dehradun to Amritsar from Jolly Grant Airport. Present on the first flight of Spice Jet Airways was the Chief Minister along with MLA Harbhajan Singh Cheema, Chairman of Dehradun International School DS Mann, OSD to CM, Abhay Rawat, and other high officials. With this, air services are now available from Dehradun to Jaipur, Jammu and Amritsar cities.
The Chief Minister said that work underway to connect several cities of the country with Jolly Grant Airport. He said there had been a demand for a direct flight from Amritsar to Dehradun for a long time. Expansion of air services in the state is being done expeditiously, for which total support is being made available by the Central Government.
