Homage was paid by a large number of people of different organizations at Gandhi Park at 1100 am on 15 for worst ever terror attack at Pulwama in J & K since 1989, where 44 CRPF jawans were killed on 14 Feb. Maj Gen KD Singh Retd stressed that the country needs to tighten the national security to avoid such attacks again. Brig KG Behl Retd Patron Dehradun Ex-Services League expressed that now enough is enough and our country needs to take strong action to eliminate the terrorists from the country. Col BM Thapa Retd, Senior Vice President Dehradun Ex-Services League emphasized that Govt. should take immediate action for eradication of such terrorist attacks again and again as more than 1000 soldiers have become martyrs by the terrorist activities. He said that sacrifice of these brave soldiers will not go in vain but now time has come for strong immediate action with out any delay and with out any political issue. Others who expressed their views were Sushil Tyagi, BS Negi, Jagmohan Mediratta,Vishambaer Bajaj, BP Nautiyal, Arvind Gupta, Col BD Gambhir, Col KS Mann, Dr M Bhandari, Dr D Bhandari and many others. Other organisations which took part were Sangyukta Nagrik Sangthan, Dehradun Ex-Services League, Rashtriya Ekta Manawta, Parasparik Maitri and many others.
