Dehradun, 23 Apr: A young e-rickshaw driver died after his vehicle overturned at Kishan Nagar Chowk on Monday. Earlier, the family members had alleged that car owners had beaten him badly, which led to his death. The deceased, Mustakim, had given Rs 15,000 to the car owner related to the matter.
Following the incident, the family of the deceased met with SSP at the police office. During the meeting, they shared their doubts and concerns about the incident. The SSP explained the steps taken by the police and showed them the CCTV footage related to the case.
After watching the footage, the family members of the deceased said they were now satisfied with the investigation. They mentioned that the video clearly showed no one was beating him. They agreed that the young man’s death was not a case of murder.
