The Chief Minister also directed that the process for the construction of the Film City proposed to be established in Dehradun should also be started soon. For this, 107 acres of land has been identified. He stressed early action should be taken to construct flatted factories (smaller industrial units set up in multistorey buildings) in Udham Singh Nagar and Selaqui besides Haridwar. It may be recalled that the process of construction of flatted factories on 5 lakh square feet of land in Haridwar is already in progress.

The CM directed that this scheme should be promoted widely so that people can get maximum benefit from it.
