Dehradun, 12 May: Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission has extended a big relief this year in the fees of professional courses being run by the Shri Guru Ram Rai Ram University. The students will have to pay 50% less fees for the professional courses this year after the discount as compared to the last year. The discount in fees will benefit the students of extremely poor families of Uttarakhand.
A Press Conference was organised on Saturday at the auditorium of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Pathri Bagh Campus. While addressing media personnel at the conference, Vice Chancellor of SGRR University, Dr (Prof) Pitambar Prasad Dhyani disclosed that the University’s Chancellor Mahant Devendra Dass had extended relief to the children of poor and lower-middle class sections of society. Currently, 125 schools are being run by SGRR Education Mission. SGRR University was established with the objective of making the journey of education from school to higher level easy and result-oriented. SGRR Management was receiving these suggestions for these discounts. From this year, the students of SGRR University will have to pay Rs 1.2 lakhs for courses like MBA, BBA, etc. Almost the same discount has been offered in the fees for the courses of MCA & BCA. In the courses of BSc Agriculture & Horticulture, discount of Rs 1.5 lakhs and Rs 2.4 lakhs have been offered, said Dr Prof Pitambar Prasad Dhyani while interacting with the media personnel.
Besides offering discount in the fees, female students, students who have passed XIIth from SGRR Public Schools, children from very poor families will be offered special discounts in addition to the normal discount. If a brother and sister simultaneously take admission in a course at SGRR University, the sister will be offered 25 percent extra discount in tuition fee. Also present at the press conference were SGRR University OSD Dr Yogender Bahuguna, Dr Dinesh Upmanyu, Gagandeep Makkar and Sonia Gambhir, etc.
