DEHRADUN, 12 August: Doon International School showcased its exceptional debating skills by clinching two major victories in inter-school competitions held on Saturday. The school’s debating teams emerged triumphant at both the CJM and the Grace Academy debate competitions.
At CJM, the DIS team comprising of Avnish Chauhan, Palak Tomar and Samika Singh outperformed their rivals to lift the Winner’s trophy, demonstrating their persuasive skills and articulate arguments. The success continued at Grace Academy, where the English Debating team competed against various renowned schools, securing first place and another Winner’s trophy.

Individual accolades further highlighted DIS’s debating talent. Nishchay Deep was recognized as the Most Promising Speaker of the day, while Aahna Rawat earned the title of Best Speaker in the first round at the Grace Academy debate competition.
These individual accomplishments culminated in Doon International School being awarded the Overall Trophy, highlighting the students’ collective effort and the school’s commitment to fostering critical thinking and oratory skills.
