Dehradun, 20 Mar: A women’s photography exhibition, “Stories Through Her Lens” Season 3, was inaugurated by Prof Surekha Dangwal, Vice-Chancellor, Doon University, who said, “A captured moment may be still but the memory is always alive”.
The programme began with lamp lighting by the Chief Guest and the women photographers. Sona Dheer Kukreti hosted the programme.
Colored Leaf Photography, a group of talented photographers, inaugurated its third edition of the Women’s Photography Exhibition.
The exhibition took place today at Muse Art Gallery showcasing a diverse collection of photographs that capture women’s experiences through the lens of female photographers.
The exhibition has been curated by Bhumesh Bharti, a renowned photographer with years of experience in the field. Bharti’s expertise in curating exhibitions is sure to add a unique touch to the exhibition, which promises to be an immersive experience for all attendees.
“Stories Through Her Lens” Season 3 features a range of styles and themes, with each photograph telling a different story from a woman’s perspective. The following are the participants of this exhibition – Rekha Giri, Amita Naveen, Jyotarpan Kaur, Sona Dheer Kukreti, Garima Singh, Mauli Mishra, Megha S Kathuria, Mudita Agnihotri Sant, Nupur Pundir, Surabhi Sapra, Samita Gupta, Somya Sindoor, Manju Kala, Urvashi B Sharma, Tanushree, Varsha Pathania and Veenu Dhingra. The exhibition is a celebration of the diversity of women’s experiences and the power of photography to capture those experiences in a meaningful way.
