MEERUT, 13 Sept: Renowned educationist, institution-builder, social worker, and founder of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Group Dr Atul Krishna has been conferred with the prestigious “Mahakavi Gopaldas Neeraj Samman.”
The award was presented by Mrigank Prabhakar, Secretary of Mahakavi Gopaldas Neeraj Foundation and son of Mahakavi Neeraj, along with Afzal Manglori, poet, former Vice-Chairman of the Language Institute of the Government of Uttarakhand, and Public Relations Secretary of the Foundation. They honored Krishna with a memento, a shawl, and a bouquet.
On behalf of the Foundation, it was stated that Dr Krishna has made remarkable contributions in the fields of education, society, culture, and medical sciences, while also devoting valuable time of his life to literary service.
Speaking at the felicitation ceremony held at the Subharti campus, Afzal Manglori said that Atul Krishna shared a deep and familial bond with Mahakavi Neeraj. Neeraj always admired his intellect and contributions, and held him in great affection and respect.
Expressing his gratitude to the Foundation after receiving the honor, Dr Atul Krishna said, “This recognition is an extraordinary and unforgettable experience of my life. To receive an award in the name of the revered Mahakavi Neeraj is a matter of immense pride. Mahakavi Neeraj illuminated literature and continues to inspire us all.”
