State universities get 13 Assistant Registrars

DEHRADUN, 21 Oct: State Higher Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat today distributed appointment letters to 13 Assistant Registrars, selected from the State Public Service Commission in the assembly hall. They have been deployed in four state universities of the state, Kumaon University, Uttarakhand Open University, Doon University and Sri Dev Suman University. With the appointment of assistant registrars, the work of universities will be expedited and administrative work will also be improved.
     On this occasion, Dr Rawat said that the state government is continuously engaged in improving the administrative systems in higher education. Under which vacant academic, administrative and non-teaching posts are being filled in universities. In this sequence, appointment letters have been distributed to 13 assistant registrars selected from the State Public Service Commission. Out of the newly appointed 13 assistant registrars, 6 were posted in Uttarakhand Open University against the vacant posts, while 3 were posted in Kumaun University, Nainital and two assistant registrars each were posted in Doon University and Sri Dev Suman University against the vacant posts. The Education  Minister expressed hope that all the newly appointed Assistant Registrars will discharge their work and responsibilities with full dedication and honesty. He also wished them good luck for his bright future.
     The 13 candidates selected from the State Public Service Commission who were posted to the posts of Assistant Registrar are Pramod Benjwal, Rohit Joshi, Abhishek Vajpayee, Ratti Dogra, Divendu Rawat, Bhupendra Singh Nayal, Vijay Singh, Gulsher Ali, Vikrant Kumar, Deepak Kumar,  Rakesh Kumar, Shamsher Singh and Brijmohan Singh.
     On this occasion, Departmental Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Additional Secretary Ashish Srivastava, Vice Chancellor Prof DS Rawat, Prof NK Joshi, Prof SS Bisht, Prof Surekha Dangwal, Prof MSM Rawat, Prof KD, etc. were present.
