CM Dhami interacts with students on “Uttarakhand of My Dreams”

Rudrapur, 27 Aug: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the “Chief Minister’s Young Students’ Manthan” programme, organised on the subject, “Uttarakhand of My Dreams”, at a private school in Rudrapur on Thursday.
During the programme, the Chief Minister interacted with young students and learned about their ideas, suggestions, and visions for a future Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister addressed their queries and guided them. He described the students’ energy, thinking, and commitment to a developed Uttarakhand as encouraging.
The Chief Minister stated that ensuring the state’s future generation is empowered, self-reliant, and aware is our priority. The ideas and suggestions of the youth can play a crucial role in shaping Uttarakhand’s development. Along with education, providing better opportunities for employment, skill development, innovation, and entrepreneurship to youth is among the government’s priorities.
The Chief Minister stated that to realise the vision of “Developed India – Developed Uttarakhand”, every sector, including education, employment, innovation, skill development, tourism, agriculture, sports, and technology, is being strengthened. Youth power is Uttarakhand’s greatest strength, and by giving opportunities to their dreams, ideas, and talents, we are moving forward towards building a self-reliant, capable, and developed Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister stated that youth are not only the future of today but also the future of tomorrow. Praising the efforts of students in an essay competition, titled “Uttarakhand of My Dreams”, he said that the state is rapidly progressing in the fields of tourism, development, innovation, and science and technology. The government has implemented new policies in these areas.
Referring to the promotion of youth in the field of science, the Chief Minister said that the country’s fifth largest Science City has been built in Dehradun. Its primary objective is to provide promising students from the state with the opportunity to lead the nation and the world in the fields of science and technology.
Highlighting the importance of leadership, the Chief Minister said that leadership is not limited to politics. Individuals who excel in every field—sports, medicine, science, media, and industry—are true leaders in their respective fields. He also urged the youth to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India and contribute to the development of the country and the state. He extended greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Rakhi.
The Chief Minister said that the “Uttarakhand of My Dreams” competition has received widespread support from the state’s students. As part of the campaign, 267,744 students from across the state submitted their essays and ideas. The ideas expressed by the students reflect their vision and determination for Uttarakhand’s development, prosperity, and bright future.
The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand’s young generation is alert and aware of the state’s future. By connecting students’ dreams, suggestions, and innovative ideas to the direction of development, an Uttarakhand will be created that is strong, self-reliant, and developed.
Approximately 800 students and teachers from various schools, along with Mayor Vikas Sharma, Minister of State ranked Anil Kapoor Dabboo, Rampal Singh, Dinesh Mansera, Uttam Dutta, Farzana Begum, former MLA Rajesh Shukla, District President Kamal Jindal, District Magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati, and others were present at the event.
