DEHRADUN, 19 Jul: Upendra Arora, owner, Natraj Publishers, on Saturday called on Samir Sinha, Head of Forest Force Uttarakhand, to greet him on the occasion of Harela Lok Parv and wish him all success in his new assignment. During the courtesy meeting Sinha recalled his visits to the Bookshop from his probation days as a young forest officer at Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun. The Green Bookshop has been a major attraction for forest officers from accross the country. Arora availed the opportunity to apprise Sinha of some new books related to Forestry and Wildlife. Sinha, a Fulbright Scholar from Colorado State University, is a former Director, Corbett Tiger Reserve, Rajaji National Park and the Nanda Devi Biodiversity Reserve and is credited with working in eleven Protected Areas. A Former Chief Wildlife Warden, Uttrakhand, he is a member of IUCN’s World Commission on Protected Areas and the Asian Rhino Specialist Group. ‘Handbook on Wildlife Law Enforcement In India’ by Samir Sinha, a popular reference book was published by Natraj Publishers in 2010.
