Dehradun, 12 Dec: Minister Ganesh Joshi gave the mahurat clap for the film, “Bharat Ke Agniveer”, made with the efforts of Mahant Rabindrapuri Creation and Satya Online Production in Haridwar and also released the poster of the film.
Shooting of the film by the film’s producer and director Purushottam Sharma will be done from 15 December in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and other hilly districts.
On this occasion, Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said, “I feel proud to start the shooting of this film on the protectors of Mother India.” The Sainik Welfare Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, this is a transformational reform for the country and for the armed forces. He said that the army had decided to recruit 46,000 Agniveers by December this year, following which the recruitment started on 19 August in Garhwal Division and on 20 August in Kumaon Division. At present, the recruited Agniveers are being sent for training through the ARO office of the Army.
Minister Joshi said that by becoming Agniveers, millions of youth of our country will get a unique opportunity to serve the country and contribute to nation building, as well as there will be availability of disciplined and skilled youth with military ethos in society. He said that according to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the construction of a grand military memorial in Dehradun is in progress by the state government. The target is to complete its construction work by December 2023.
On this occasion, President, Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, film producer director Purushottam Sharma, Mahant Amardeep Singh, Mahant Nirbhay Singh, Mahant Jarnail Singh and many others were present.
