DEHRADUN, 21 Oct: Indian Kabaddi team captain, Pawan Sehrawat, met Governor Lt-General Gurmit Singh (Retd) at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. Under his captaincy, India won the gold medal in the recently held Asian Games in China, for which the Governor congratulated him and honored him with a memento.
Lt-General Singh said that he is a source of inspiration for our youth. He said that we all are proud of our players and that due to their excellent performance, they have won a record of 107 medals in the Asian Games this year. The youth of Uttarakhand have the potential to do better in the game of Kabaddi. The youth need to learn from such players.
On this occasion, Singh expressed his best wishes for Sehrawat’s bright future.
