Dehradun, 12 Jan: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) released two books, “Cosmic Love” and “Pratapanagar to Tokyo”, based on the life, philosophy, and historic journey of Swami Ram Tirth, at the Raj Bhavan, here, today. These books have been edited by Acharya Sarveshwar Prabhakar and Acharya Gangeshwar Prabhakar, the heads of the Swami Ramteerth Centre, Saharanpur.
On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the Swami Ramteerth Centre and stated that these books would not only contribute to the fields of literature and research but also become a source of inspiration for the youth. He mentioned that the thoughts and principles of Swami Ram Tirth remain relevant even today, as they convey messages of global peace, love, and unity.
The Governor further stated that Swami Ram Tirth was not just a saint but a visionary thinker, a promoter of practical Vedanta, a poet, and a messenger of global love. He spread the message of world love and spirituality to all of humanity. It is a matter of pride for all of us that his journey and teachings continue to inspire.
The Governor added that Swami Ram Tirth began his historic journey from Pratapanagar in Tehri, passing through China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and reaching Japan. In Japan, he propagated Indian spirituality and practical Vedanta and strengthened the cultural unity between India and Japan. This book revives that historic journey and his contributions. He emphasised that this book would further strengthen the relationship between India and Japan.
On this occasion, First Lady Gurmeet Kaur, Judge of the Delhi High Court, Dinesh Sharma, Legal Advisor Amit Kumar Sirohi, President of Balaji Dham Kalka Amardas Ji Maharaj, President of Swami Ramteerth Centre Acharya Sarveshwar Prabhakar, Dr Raman Singh, Dr Abha Prabhakar, Dr Gangeshwar Prabhakar, and several distinguished personalities were also present.
