Dehradun, 19 Apr: Governor Baby Rani Maurya today visited the vocational centre of Bajaj Institute of Learning for the Deaf to inaugurate the newly acquired sewing machines.
She was greeted by the Management, Staff, Students and Principal of the institute. Hearing impaired girls presented a welcome dance followed by a toe tapping performance by the students of primary section. A presentation on the school was given by Anshika Burakoti, student of Class Eight.
The Governor encouraged the students and appreciated the efforts put in by the staff towards making life better and easier for them. Students performed the National aAnthem in Indian Sign Language, which was highly appreciated by her.
