New Delhi, 25 Nov: Uttarakhand Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) visited the newly constructed Uttarakhand State Guest House, ‘Uttarakhand Niwas’, in Chanakyapuri, here, on Monday.
He received information from the officials about its functioning. He stated that this building, designed in the hill architecture style, is a unique example of Uttarakhand’s art, culture, and architecture. He further emphasised that Uttarakhand Niwas will not only provide better facilities to the people of Uttarakhand but will also promote the state’s cultural heritage and tourism.
