DEHRADUN, 26 Jul: An interschool science exhibition was organized under the aegis of The Heritage School, where students showcased innovative scientific models and shared significant insights into various scientific concepts.
Models like Chandrayaan, Home Automation Rover, Li-Fi technology, and VOC detection in air were the major attractions of the event. Students demonstrated the working principles of their models and answered questions posed by the judges with confidence.
Based on the scores, New Doon Blossom School was declared the winner, while The Presidency International School secured the runner-up position. Judges Anju Rawat and Ashish Kumar Porwal appreciated the creativity and technical understanding displayed by the students.
Interestingly, The Heritage School, the host institution, scored the highest points but declined to accept the trophy in the spirit of fair competition.
Students from several schools, including The Heritage School North Campus, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy, St Joseph’s Academy, St Xavier’s School, Mount Fort Academy, and others participated in the exhibition. The event was attended by the school’s Chairman Chaudhary Awadhesh Kumar, Director Vikrant Chaudhary, Counsellor Charu Chaudhary, Principal Dr Anju Tyagi, Junior School Counsellor Sarika Jain, along with teachers and students.
