Hilton’s School celebrates Republic Day with pride & patriotism

Dehradun, 26 Jan: Hilton’s School marked the Nation’s 77th Republic Day with great pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm. The celebration began with unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal, David J. Hilton, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by students, coordinators, and staff, reflecting a spirit of unity and solidarity.

The programme featured an inspiring address in Hindi by Head Boy Sapeksh Raj Trehan, setting a patriotic tone. This was followed by a soulful rendition of the patriotic song “Dharti Sone Ki…” by the School Choir. Head Girl Tsetan Wangmu then spoke eloquently on the importance of the Indian Constitution, highlighting its core principles as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, and Democratic Republic.

Cultural performances added vibrancy to the event, including the energetic medley “Tirange Ki Shaan” and an inspiring presentation on “Vande Mataram” by the students of Classes VI to VIII.

The celebration concluded with an address by the Principal, David J Hilton, who underscored the vital role of young minds in nation-building through hard work, dedication, and discipline.
