Him Jyoti School celebrates Annual Day – “Vihang … When Dreams Take Flight”

Dehradun, 17 Dec: Him Jyoti School celebrated its Annual Day with joy and pride through its annual presentation “Vihang… When Dreams Take Flight”. Sowjanya, Joint Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), was the Chief Guest.

The celebration commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a Saraswati Vandana. The Annual Report, presented by the Principal, Ruma Malhotra, highlighted the school’s academic achievements, co-scholastic excellence, and the holistic development of students over the year.

A special highlight of the evening was the Usha Aggarwal Award, conferred upon Dinesh Rawat in recognition of his dedication and invaluable contribution to Him Jyoti School. The award included a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

The cultural segment featured the dance drama, “Vihang”, and a musical performance by the school band, both of which were deeply appreciated by the audience for their artistic expression and message. Alumni Dr Ganga Rani Nautiyal and Garima Shahi shared their inspiring journeys, encouraging students to dream big, remain resilient, and pursue their goals with determination.

In her address, Sowjanya emphasised the importance of inner strength, financial independence, and self-belief, urging the students to stay focused and confident as they shape their futures. Her words resonated deeply with students, parents, and guests alike.

The Annual Day celebration concluded on a note of pride and inspiration, reaffirming Him Jyoti School’s commitment to nurturing empowered, confident, and socially responsible young women.
