Dehradun, 7 Nov: Him Jyoti School welcomed TN Subramanian, Rotary International Director, 2023-2025, and Vidya Subramanian, former Chairperson of Inner Wheel, from Mumbai and members of the Rotary Club on Wednesday. Also present were school trustee Hemant K Arora, Justice BS Verma, PDG Prem Bhalla, PDG Rakesh Agarwal, Rtn Tarun Bhatia, Jagriti Nawani, Pawan Agarwal, Tapan Kaushik, Anupam Trivedi, Justice BS Verma, Puneet Tandon, Sunil Sharma and other guests.
Subramanian, a respected leader in the Rotary community with a legacy spanning over three decades, shared his inspiring journey from a Rotary club member to district governor and now, International Director.
The programme began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment. The Principal, Ruma Malhotra, delivered the welcome address, setting a warm tone for the event. Students then presented a cultural show reflecting both talent and discipline.
In his speech, Subramanian shared invaluable life lessons and experiences, encouraging students to dream big, serve their communities, and embrace challenges with determination. His words left a lasting impression on everyone, motivating students and staff alike to pursue their goals with dedication and purpose.
