Himalayan Hospital holds Free Health Camp

Rishikesh, 15 May: A health camp was organised by Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant at Shyampur Barat House, here, today. A total of 142 patients benefited from the health camp, receiving free medicines. Essential health checks were also conducted free of charge.

The Community Medicine Department of the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) organised a health camp at Shyampur Barat House. The Head of the Department, Dr Ashok Srivastava, stated that good health is everyone’s right. The department organises these health camps with the objective of providing quality health services to patients.

RHTC (Rural Health Training Centre) In-charge Dr Abhay Srivastava reported that about 142 patients attended the free camp for consultation, including approximately 80 women and 62 men. They were provided with free health consultations by the department’s doctors.

Dr Deepshikha Chaudhary mentioned that all the patients received free medicines at the camp. Tests for sugar, hemoglobin, and other health screenings were also conducted free of charge.

Dr Neha Sharma, Dr. Chirag Joshi, Dr Archita Yadav, Arpana Gupta, Aryan Mishra, Aryavind Beniwal, Ashish Bhati, and MSc students Shailendra Singh, Adarsh, lab technician Pradeep, pharmacist Hariom, and others contributed to the effort.
