Dehradun, 23 Mar: Graphic Era student Bhagwati Prasad Joshi’s accident prevention and life saving formula has been liked by the renowned car automobile company, Hyundai. Hyundai has offered Bhagwati the opportunity to continue work on this idea. This formula can become a gift of new technology to prevent accidents at the sharp turning points on the road.
Out of 10 thousand ideas that came from across the nation, the idea proposed by Graphic Era Hill University’s MCA 1st year student, Bhagwati Prasad Joshi, got the first position from Hyundai. For his innovative idea on Road Safety, Bhagwati Prasad Joshi has been given Rs 15 lakhs seed investment for the execution of his idea in Hyundai’s H Social Creator programme.
Joshi said that with the help of ultrasonic sensor devices and an intelligent chip, the risk of animals crossing or vehicles coming at high speed on sharp turns can be detected. Red signals and hooters can be installed at the turns which can get the real time data from the intelligent chips and warn traffic.
Joshi belongs to Chekuda village of Bagadpatti in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. His father Mohan Prasad Joshi is a retired army man.
