R-Day: Police excellence awards

DEHRADUN, 24 Jan: Uttarakhand government and the Director General of Police have decided to award the Governor’s Excellent Service Medal, Director General of Police‘s Commendation Disc “Gold”, and Director General of Police‘s Commendation Disc “Silver” to various police officers and employees on the occasion of Republic Day 2025, in recognition of their distinguished services and exemplary work. Among those selected for Governor’s Excellent Service Medal include IG Kewal Khurana, SSP Dehradun Ajai Singh and SSP Haridwar Pramod Dobhal.
In addition, ASP PAC Haridwar Surjeet Singh Panwar, ASP Haridwar Lokjeet Singh, Sub-Inspector (SI) Civil Police Dehradun Deepak Singh Panwar, SI Civil Police Dehradun Jyoti Kanyal and ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) PK Uniyal have also been chosen for the same award.
Officers including SP Intelligence Pradeep Kumar Rai, DSP Haridwar Rakesh Rawat, DSP 40 th Battalion PAC Haridwar Bipin Singh, Inspector Traffic in Tehri, Uma Dutt Semwal, Inspector Pithoragarh Kunwar Singh Rawat, Sub-Inspector (Motor Transport) Dehradun Jagat Singh Bisht, SI (M) Vijay Laxmi Juyal, Addl Commandant Rajendra Singh, ASI CID Dehradun Suresh Lal Snehi and Head Constable Nainital Sadhna have been chosen for Director General of Police Commendation Disc “Gold” (Based on Service).
Inspector Kamal K Lunthi Inspector Dehradun, SI Dehradun Prakash Sha, SI Manglaur (Haridwar) Dinesh Kumar, Inspector US Nagar Naresh Chauhan and SI Haridwar Naresh Singh have been chosen for Director General of Police Commendation Disc “Gold” (for special work).
In addition, IG Intelligence Krishna Kumar VK, DSP Secretariat Security Kamlesh Pant, DSP Vigilance Anil Manral Battalion Commander PAC Haridwar Birendra Singh Kathait, Fire Officer Mahesh Chandra, Inspector (M) Vigilance Jeevan Singh Bisht, Commander SDRF Balam Singh Bajeli, Inspector Intelligence Haridwar Neeraj Yadav, Inspector Intelligence Haridwar Sher Bahadur, SI Pithoragarh Mangal Singh Negi, SI Intelligence Arun Kumar Pandey, SI (Motor Transport) Surendra Singh Rana, SI Pushpa Rautela, ASI Chandra Prakash Singh, Jaswant Singh, Sushil Kumar, Mohini Devi, Umesh Chandra Devrari, Fire Service Driver Sunder Singh and Constable Lalit Prasad have been chosen for Director General of Police Commendation Disc “Silver” (on the basis of service).
SP Champawat Ajay Ganpati Kumbhar, Inspector LIU Laxman Singh Negi, Inspector Cyber Crime Tribhuvan Rautela, SI Devesh Kumar Khugsal, SI Pradyuman Singh Negi, SI Amandeep Singh, Head Constable Vikas Kumar Saini and Constable Pradeep Singh Mehra, Constable Pankaj Bisht, Constable Wasim Akram have been chosen for Director General of Police Commendation Disc “Silver” (for Special Work).
