Dehradun, 8 May: Describing the ongoing Operation Sindoor 2.0 as glorious, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt said that, this time, India will root out terrorism under the leadership of Modi. He stated that the Armed Forces has fulfilled PM Modi’s promise of wiping out terrorists on the very first night, and their masters were eliminated last night. Bhatt asserted that every resident of the state stands firmly with the country’s brave soldiers, and the citizens’ participation in yesterday’s mock drill reflects this commitment.
Bhatt was interacting with the media here today. He termed the drone attacks in retaliation to Pakistan’s failed strikes following Operation Sindoor 1.0 as an extremely necessary measure. He recalled that in 2014, on the very first day, PM Modi had made his policy clear that India will not spare anyone who provokes the country, a befitting reply will be given. Acting on this principle, the nation’s armed forces have continuously launched decisive strikes against terror and its masterminds. Bhatt asserted that the Modi Government is fully capable and determined to eliminate terrorism from the country.
The BJP MP further stated that the nation is proud of its forces, who are destroying enemy bases in Pakistan one after another. First, they avenged the brutal killings of innocent brothers in Pahalgam, and now they have delivered a fitting response to Pakistan’s fresh attack.
He also emphasised that the brave soldiers from Uttarakhand are not just contributing at the border, but everyone present here should also be ready to take responsibility in awareness and emergency management efforts. The enthusiasm with which a large number of common citizens, along with BJP workers, participated in yesterday’s mock drill reflects the mental strength and preparedness of all. Bhatt claimed that Modi has fulfilled his promise of wiping out terrorists, and in continuation, he is also delivering an unforgettable punishment to their masters. Hence, the people of Uttarakhand are committed to completing this mission alongside Modi.
