Dehradun, 29 Jul: Chef Kesar Singh Negi, who had been arrested recently in connection with a fire incident in Malviya Nagar in Delhi and is now out on bail, today called on Haridwar MP and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at his official residence in New Delhi along with his family.
On the occasion, Rawat observed that the first victory of truth has been achieved and the return of Negi to his family is a matter of deep satisfaction and happiness. He noted that during the difficult circumstances, the prayers of the people of Uttarakhand had been with Negi.
Rawat emphasised that standing with someone in adverse situations is the true essence of humanity and public service. Rawat further assured Negi of all possible support in the future and extended his best wishes to him and his daughter, urging them to remain in regular contact.
Rawat said that there is complete faith in the judiciary of India, the judicial process is supreme and that ultimately truth will fully prevail and justice will be established. Rawat remarked that the greatest strength of the judicial system lies in delivering justice to the innocent. He added that such judicial decisions further strengthen society’s faith in law and the justice system.
