Kanika’s solo exhibition continues to attract visitors

DEHRADUN, 13 Feb: The solo exhibition “Art for Heart’s Sake” by Kanika Kapoor continues at Tanshi Arts Studio, after its inauguration on 21 January.
The special guest, today, was Puneet Basur, Principal of Bajaj Institute of Learning for Deaf Children along with her teachers and creative students. She was accompanied by renowned artists Rasaily Chandra, Anjali Thapa, Kulina Shah, Smrity Lal in lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Kanika’s father Anil Kapoor spoke about her inclination for art since childhood and her journey till here with special needs, and how she decided to make this hobby her profession.
Kanika is a deaf girl with special needs. She has created wonders on canvas with acrylics and oils. She has done her Bachelors in Fine Arts. She has painted nature, flowers, sea life, animals, etc.
The teachers also took interest in her works and have invited her to their institute to interact.
Also present on the occasion were Vrinda Bekal, Geeta Saur, Chandra B Rasaily, Anjali Thapa, Kulina Shah, Smrity Lal, Kanika Kapoor, Ankita, etc.
