Dehradun, 15 Jul: Kasiga School celebrated 18 years of excellence on the occasion of its Founders’ Day, today. The celebration was a tribute to the school’s journey, bringing together its management, faculty, students, alumni, and well-wishers to honour the past and look confidently towards the future.
The day began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a warm and inspiring welcome address. The Headmaster and the Chairman addressed the gathering, reflecting on the school’s enduring values, rich history, and future aspirations.
A key moment of the event was the release of the school’s academic journal, ‘The Prism Pen’; a testimony to Kasiga’s commitment to academic excellence and intellectual growth.
The celebration was graced by Chief Guest Jayant Harihar Lal, a veteran educator and former Principal of The Sanskaar Valley School. His visionary work in the field of education was lauded, and his presence added immense value to the occasion.
Among the dignitaries present were also the Directors of Kasiga School, whose leadership and guidance have been instrumental in the school’s continued success.
The vibrant cultural programme showcased the diverse talents of Kasiga students. The School Choir opened the event with a soulful performance, setting an emotional and unifying tone. This was followed by a dynamic band performance, which brought energy and rhythm to the foyer.
A semi-classical dance presentation featuring Bharatnatyam, Odissi, and Kathak blended with contemporary movement, symbolised Kasiga’s commitment to tradition and innovation in equal measure.
A narration of “18 Years of Kasiga” recounted the school’s remarkable milestones — from academic achievements and sporting success to artistic accomplishments and community impact. The segment, “Looking Ahead: The Road to the Future”, reflected the school’s steadfast vision to nurture lifelong learners, ethical leaders, and responsible global citizens.
The ceremony also honoured the founding members, visionary educators, and devoted staff, whose dedication and contributions have shaped the identity of Kasiga School. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and a sincere vote of thanks, leaving everyone present with a profound sense of pride, belonging, and inspiration.
